President’s Welcome Message – STRONGER TOGETHER

Dear Members and Friends of the Alberta Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church,

Camp Meeting is upon us again. This past year has been one of learning to live in a COVID world. Sadly, many people have been sick, and some have lost their lives during this time of hardship and our thoughts and prayers go out to each one.

It was hoped that a second virtual Camp Meeting would not be necessary, yet here we are. Our theme for this year is “Stronger Together”.

This theme was chosen as an expression of confidence that God’s people will come together after so long apart and we will move forward towards fulfilling God’s mission in this world. I pray you will benefit from the many wonderful presentations by so many inspirational speakers. Next year we will meet together in person, God willing.

Registration is required to receive the live Zoom links for sessions such as Prayer Meeting, Daily Disciples, and all children’s programs. We encourage everyone to register on the www.albertavirtualcampmeeting.ca website. Registration is free. It requires a name and email address. Registration on the website will allow you to

save favourites,
map out and save your own schedule,
receive updates and notifications,

Registration also gives you access to downloadable materials for the Prayer Time, Daily Disciples, and all children’s programs.

Attendees viewing from Roku or other smart TV services can view the meetings on YouTube and no registration is required. Search for “Alberta Conference”

Featured Speakers

Mike and René Lemon: are the hosts for It Is Written Canada, a nationwide television ministry that spotlights the life-transforming power of trusting God’s Word. They are both 100% organic, non-GMO, sweet-and-sour lemons. René is the sweet one. They have two amazing daughters, Jo-Ann and Miclain, who are extroverts like their parents are and love to make meaningful connections with others.

Benjamin Lundquist: is currently one of the prominent voices for young adult ministry in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He is currently serving as Young Adult Ministries director for the Oregon Conference and also as the Young Adult Ministries coordinator for the North American Division. Benjamin earned a B.A. in Theology from Southern Adventist University and an M.A. in Youth and Young Adult Ministry from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University.

Daily Disciples

Are you eager to grow in relationship with Jesus and others? Are you yearning for authentic intergenerational fellowship for all ages? Join Pastors Ted and Sandra Deer as they host a team of different presenters each day in an exciting and interactive meeting every morning. You will learn practical principles in how to live daily as a disciple of Jesus. There will be worship time, sharing time, lesson time, and a daily challenge to put to use what you learn! Our time together will be reminiscent of the early Christian Church when truly it was found to be ‘Stronger Together’!

Prayer Ministries Daily Prayer Hour

July 10-17, 8am – 9am we start each day with prayer time together
July 12-16 we will have a time of prayer each day at noon for 30 minutes.
